FIELD: processes, in general, for influencing or modifying the properties of mortars, concrete or artificial stone compositions.
SUBSTANCE: concrete comprises glass filler (glass fragments) and concrete corrosion inhibitor, which suppresses concrete expansion caused by reaction between concrete alkalis and filler silica. Concrete production method involves mixing cement, sand, glass filler, concrete corrosion inhibitor and water. The concrete corrosion inhibitor is silica gel having particle dimensions not greater than 50 μm and taken in amount of 4%-8% of cement mass. Free alkali content in cement grout recalculated to Na2O exceeds 0.6.
EFFECT: prevention of undesirable cement expansion and increased ecological safety of concrete and concrete article production due to inexpensive silica gel usage as corrosion inhibitor.
