FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making a mixture for alkaline corrosion resistant lightweight concrete. The method includes mixing cement, sand, plasticizer and water. In this case, portland cement M400 is used as cement. A 0.5 fraction quartz sand is used as sand. Before mixing, an air-entraining agent, a glass foam granulate, the surface of which is passivated during the firing and blowing stage at a temperature of 600-700°C using kaolin powder and silica powder, is added to the above components in order to inhibit alkaline corrosion.
EFFECT: invention obtains an alkaline corrosion resistant lightweight concrete, which allows the use of cement with high alkalinity (more than 0.6 wt%), and increase the lightweight concrete strength.
