FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of cut off and control of thrust of solid-propellant ramjet engines, inert gas is delivered into circulating flow zone with stabilized flame formed after flame stabilizer. Inert gas is delivered in form of ring jet between air flow getting through hole of flame stabilizer and stabilized flame, or in form of assembly of jets between air flow getting through hole of flame stabilizer and stabilized flame. Proposed device to cut off and control thrust of solid-propellant ramjet engines has flame stabilizer, ring manifold with ring channel and pipeline to deliver inert gas, and igniter. Flame stabilizer is made hollow, and it accommodates manifold in its space. Device has at least igniters. Walls of ring channel adjoin lower wall of flame stabilizer space, and igniters are arranged in flame stabilizer space. Lower wall of flame stabilizer forms wall of ring channel. According to second design version, output of ring channel is provided with ring member with holes to form jet assembly.
EFFECT: provision of cutoff and control of thrust at considerably low consumption of inert gas.
