FIELD: mechanization of animal farming.

SUBSTANCE: method involves changing speed of displacement of feed monolith into discharge zone by means of feeding conveyors; regulating dispensing norm by increasing or decreasing extent of engagement of feed monolith with feeding conveyors; raising feed monolith above conveyors or bringing it close to conveyors. Apparatus comprises hopper positioned on drive part, feeding conveyors mounted on hopper bottom, feed separators, and discharge conveyor. There are longitudinal slots formed in hopper bottom and longitudinal plates positioned under bottom. Plates are attached so as to provide movement in vertical plane. Feeding conveyors are positioned between slots.

EFFECT: reduced dynamic loadings, improved uniformity in feed dispensing procedure and enhanced reliability in operation.
