FIELD: environmental protection, namely, methods for cleaning earth surface of oil and oil products, possible use for liquidating consequences of emergency spillages, on the territories of oil-extractive enterprises.
SUBSTANCE: cleaning method includes removal of oil pollution, where cleaning is performed over winter period, removal of oil pollution is performed by means of milling the surface layer for depth below pollution level with following dumping and transportation of milled frozen polluted pieces of earth (soil) towards the storage or processing location. Over spring-summer period, cleaned earth surface is dressed with fertilizers. Processing of polluted soil is performed by means of washing with a solution of non-ionogenic surfactant with following return of washed soil to the area.
EFFECT: disclosed method makes it possible to fully remove oil pollution from earth surface, to perform operations for cleaning polluted soils during one winter season (almost 8 months for Extreme North areas), preventing influx of oil into water objects during spring high water, possible cleaning with minimal influence of equipment on soil and vegetation layer, accelerated process of restoration of damaged land areas.
