FIELD: hydraulic shore-protective structures to be erected in erodible river beds, canals and other structures during accident recovery works.
SUBSTANCE: method involves digging-out trench having triangular cross-section directed so that triangle apex faces downwards; laying anti-suffusion device on trench side opposite to erodible river bank; assembling slope consolidation means including gabion mats on the anti-suffusion device; assembling flexible apron connected to slope consolidation means on opposite river bank. As river bank section adjoining slope is washed-out apron moves downwards and bank slope is consolidated by means of slope consolidation device.
EFFECT: increased operational capacity in flowing water, improved efficiency and river bank protection against erosion, extended service life of shore-protective structure and decreased costs of structure erection.
