FIELD: railway transport; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed brake system of rail vehicle contains brake main line, air distributor and standby reservoir, additional reservoir and two-step pressure relay connected with main line and air distributor by pipelines. Input of two-step pressure relay is connected with supply reservoir communicating with brake main line or with feed main line through check valve, and output is connected with brake cylinder. One of control spaces of pressure relay communicates with output of air distributor. Brake system is furnished with electromagnetic pneumatic regulator containing power electromagnet interacting through transfer mechanism with movable partition which controls intake valve and outlet valve. Input of electromagnetic regulator is connected with supply reservoir, and output, with second control space of two-step pressure relay. Power electromagnet is connected to speed unit electrically coupled with speed sensor.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of vehicle braking.
