SUBSTANCE: gray cast iron contains, mass %: carbon, 3.2 - 3.6; silicon, 0.5 - 0.7; manganese, 1.5 - 2.0; aluminum, 0.1 - 0.2; molybdenum, 0.2 - 0.3; phosphorus, 0.1 - 0.2; nitrogen, 0.08 - 0.12; tungsten, 2.0 - 3.0; arsenic, 0.03 - 0.05; iron, the balance.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance of gray cast iron.
