FIELD: agriculture, in particular, post-harvest treatment of castor-oil plant.

SUBSTANCE: method involves charging basic heap into containers; drying in containers on drying apparatus; cleaning on seed cleaning machine equipped with screens; shelling by directing heap through pair of working devices of roll-deck type; shelling non-cleaned heap before drying procedure; immediately after shelling of non-cleaned heap, cleaning it on additional cleaning machine. Line has drying apparatus, seed cleaning machine with screens, shelling device with pairs of working devices of roll-deck type, air column, containers for receiving, drying and feeding of material to be treated to drying apparatus and shelling device, to seed cleaning machine with screens, and also for storage of seeds, and other shelling device. The latter is positioned forward of cleaning machine which is set immediately downstream of shelling device.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for drying of castor-oil plant heap.
