FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for post-harvest treatment of damageable seeds.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has pairs of spaced apart working tools sequentially fixed to frame one above another. Each pair of working tools is defined by deck having elastic working surface and roll with toothed cellular surface. Spaces between decks and rolls are reducing from one pair to the other pair in working direction. Radial movement of decks and changing their position in vertical plane are provided by means of screw pairs. Working line of boundary of convex part of each pair of working tools is lying in plane perpendicular to horizontal plane extending through axis of roll, at point of intersection with horizontal plane.
EFFECT: enhanced shelling of castor-oil plant coating at minimal contacting with working tools and, accordingly, reduced damage to seeds owing to such position of deck.
