SUBSTANCE: method involves wiping preliminarily inspected bulb onion at predetermined wiping mode parameters with ethyl alcohol solution; removing non-tightly adhering covering scale; holding in suspension of preparation produced from Pythium catenulatum micromycet biomass using predetermined process; cutting-off neck and cleaning stem; washing with ethyl alcohol solution; exposing to ultraviolet radiation; packaging each bulb in smoking paper and placing in polymeric trays.
EFFECT: prolonged time for storage of fresh bulb onion fit for further usage in space feeding.
