FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with reconstructing vocal function in patients with inactive larynx. The method of plotting electronic larynx deals with stimulating a signal of the main tone in a patient's oral cavity with the help of a vibrator being pressed towards the neck, transformation of vocal signal coming out of a patient's mouth into electric equivalent with the help of a microphone, enhancement of electric signal and its transformation into acoustic form with the help of electroacoustic transformer. The vibrator's stimulation should be fulfilled with the help of an impulse signal, the frequency of impulse sequence of which coincides with a frequency interval between the teeth of pectinate filter, onto the entrance of which an electric equivalent of vocal signal developed in a microphone enters. On passing the pectinate filter, all frequency components of the signal should be shifted by frequency for the frequency interval being equal to the half of frequency interval between the teeth of the pectinate filter. The signal obtained should undergo the procedure of spectral subtraction, then the purified electric equivalent of vocal signal should be enhanced and transformed into acoustic form with the help of electroacoustic transformer. The innovation enables to improve exploitation properties of electronic larynx in the part of the stability of a patient's vocal contact with other participants of the conversation, widen the number of patients being able to efficiently apply electronic larynx and remove a microphone away from a patient for comfort distance.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
