FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used on swampy terrain. Proposed track for train consists of posts secured on reinforced concrete walls of channel filled with water. Lower rails and upper rails are welded to posts. Posts are welded to crossmembers. Train consists of cars and front and rear locomotives. Wheels moving along lower prevent turning the train aside. Guides can be lifted or lowered, depending on water level in channel and beams with wheels remain at one level. In winter, when water in channel is frozen, springs and beams with pneumatic wheels are attached to body. Train beams are set higher and wheels are placed on upper rails. Pneumatic wheels roll along ice. Proposed track has no high ballast layer.
EFFECT: reduced cost of laying and operating rail track on swampy terrain.
