FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: train consists of front and rear locomotives and passenger car located between them. Front locomotive has driver's cabin (6) where following equipment is located: control panel (7), diesel engine (8), DC generator (9) and DC motor (10) connected with lower wheel pair 3 via gear mechanism. The passenger car is connected with locomotives by coupling gear (11). The rear locomotive has two gas-turbine plants, turbine shafts (19) are connected with clutches (20) located in bearings installed in supports (21) mounted to body (1). Screw-propellers (22) are connected with clutches (20). Control panel (7) is connected with pump (24) by electric drive of valve (25) and gas-turbine plants via cable (26). Railway path of train consists of ballast layer (27) and reinforced-concrete sleepers (28) to which lower rails 29 and leak-proof reinforced-concrete trenches (30) filled with water are attached. Upper rails (31) are attached to crossbars (32), studs (33) are attached to crossbars (32) and to reinforced-concrete trenches (30). Blades of screw-propellers (22) rotating in water of trenches (30) push train forward at high speed. Two gas-turbine plants consume at high speed of train significantly less fuel than high-power turbojet engine.
EFFECT: lowering engine power at high speed of train.
