SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions intended for protection of underwater surfaces of watercraft and waterworks against fouling and can be used in shipbuilding to protect different surfaces operating in sea and river water from fouling and it can be used to protect underwater surfaces of waterworks, sea pipelines and other objects operating in water medium. Invention contains description of composition to protect underwater surfaces of watercraft and waterworks from fouling containing high-molecular fluorine containing compound and solvent. Composition contains, as high-molecular fluorine compound, quaternary ammonium salt of amide of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenecraboxylic acid and/or quaternary ammonium salt of amide of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenesulfonic acid in amount of 1-2 mass %, of the following composition: and isopropyl alcohol is used as solvent. Amount of quaternary ammonium, salt of amide of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenecraboxylic acid in mixture with quaternary ammonium salt of amide of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenesulfonic acid is 1-99 mass %.

EFFECT: reduced cost of protection of underwater surfaces of from fouling, reduced toxicological action of protected surface on surrounding water medium.
