FIELD: devices for ensuring safety, protection and rescue under conditions of movement on arterial freeway roads and railroad crossings.
SUBSTANCE: system contains solar battery, representing a set of solar paraboloid optical concentrators, focused on arsenide-gallium transformers, positioned on back side of boards. On the sides of the battery photo-diodes with reflectors are mounted which control selsyn units. Battery is positioned in hermetic box, on opposite walls of which microphone and call button are positioned. Inside the box, buffer slit battery and radio-transmitter are positioned. Rod-based receiving-transmitting radio-antenna is mounted in upper part of hemisphere. Radio-receiver contains heterodyne, mixer, amplifier of intermediate frequency, delay line, phase detector, memory block, code comparison block, executive blocks which control operation of swing gates, sound and light signalers, signal panel. The whole system is fastened on dividing barrier of freeway in close proximity of railroad crossing. Second radio-transmitter, mounted on locomotive, operates at certain frequency and emits complex signals with phase manipulation. Its composition includes microprocessor, memory of which stores all railroad crossings, generator of high frequency, multi-drain delay line, phase inverters, adder, telegraph key, power amplifier and transmitting antenna.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of system by including provision of warning about approach of train to railroad crossing.
