FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has network of diode 1 and first resistor 2 connected in series which other lead-out is linked to second supply lead-out of time-setting element 3 and to first lead-out of key unit 4 which lead-out is coupled to threshold element 5 (for instance, dinistor) shunted with backward diode 6 and first capacitor 7 which other lead-out is connected to first supply lead-out of time-setting element 3, to third lead-out of key unit 4, to low-voltage intermediate lead-out 8 of pulse transformer 9 which joint point 10 of leads-out of primary and secondary windings is coupled to other lead-out of threshold element 5, to second capacitor 11 which other lead-out is linked to other lead-out of network of diode 1 and first resistor 2 connected in series. Output lead of time-setting element 3 is coupled to controlling output of key unit 4. High-voltage lead-out 12 of secondary winding of pulse autotransformer 9 is first output lead of device which is connected to second output lead of device via secondary winding and second capacitor 11 connected in series. Diode 1, key unit 4 and threshold element 5 are connected in aiding. Device makes it possible to organize standby condition of operation under which there are no high-voltage pulse fed and dissipated power is considerably decreased when lamp is faulty and connected to device for firing.
