FIELD: shipbuilding; ship motion control equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ship motion control system is provided with commanding officer control console which may be used for observation of ship motion dynamics on special-purpose commanding officer display and for control of her motion by commanding officer personally. Control system is also provided with console selector switch, computer, mode setter and switch. Switch output is connected to steering gear input; outputs of course sensor, angular velocity sensor and rudder position sensor are connected to respective inputs of computer.
EFFECT: improved quality and safety of ship-handling.
