FIELD: metallurgy, alloys.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of alloys used in treatment of cast iron in making ingots working under conditions of enhanced hydraulic loads. Proposed alloy comprises the following components, wt.-%: tin, 3.0-7.0; nickel, 10.0-15.0; zinc, 1.0-2.0; cerium, 3.0-7.0; lanthanum, 2.0-4.0; zirconium, 10.0-15.0; boron, 2.0-4.0; aluminum, 1.0-2.0, and iron, the balance. Invention provides enhancing hermetic nature of cast iron, increasing useful life of cast iron articles based on enhancing its hermetic nature.
EFFECT: improved, enhanced and valuable properties of alloy and articles.
