FIELD: metallurgy, alloys.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of gray cast iron. Proposed alloy comprises the following components, wt.-%: chrome, 20.0-30.0; silicon, 5.0-10.0; aluminum, 5.0-10.0; manganese, 1.0-2.0; niobium, 10.0-20.0; zirconium, 10.0-20.0; boron, 1.0-2.0, and iron, the balance. Invention provides improved quality of gray cast iron based on enhancing its strength.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of alloy and cast iron.
