FIELD: pipeline transportation equipment construction, particularly underground pipeline laying and replacement.
SUBSTANCE: device has support part enclosing pipeline and provided with engagement members including wedge parts secured to opposite segment ends. Movable engagement members are made as segments and shell with wedge parts fastened to opposite ends thereof. Driving and driven parts of mover are attached to segments and frames through rope. As driving part tightens rope support part and frames are displaced in tension direction. This provides moving of segments retained by driving part one to another due to rope tensioning. Wedge members are displaced in grooves and engage pipeline surface. Driven part and pipeline start their movement after driving part displacement.
EFFECT: extended range of technical means.
