FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves joint growing of sunflower with leguminous grasses (yellow sweet clover or common sainfoin or medic) or with perennial cruciferous crops (indigo woad or oriental bunias) for producing of sunflower oil seeds; sowing sunflower and perennial grasses in one row with 70-cm spacing; upon reaching of industrial ripeness, harvesting sunflower for oil seeds when height of cut is at least 30 cm; vegetating perennial grasses after sunflower harvesting.
EFFECT: improved phosphorous feeding of sunflower and phytosanitary control, and provision for protecting of soil from water erosion during autumn-winter-spring period and from deflation during spring-summer period.
