FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics, neurosurgery.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out cutaneous incisions with underlying muscular tissue up to the pedicles of vertebrae' arches at 1.5-2.5 cm in projection of introducing transpedicular screws. Two metal rods which should be fixed towards the heads of the upper and the lower screws should be introduced subcutaneously or intramuscularly being parallel to vertebral column. The suggested innovation decreases the size of the length of surgical access, the duration of the operation conducted and decreases the terms for in-patient therapy and rehabilitation in such patients.
