FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely spinal surgery, and can be used for extirpation of the semi-vertebral column to restore the balance of the spine with congenital deformity of the thoracic and lumbar spine by simultaneous correction of deformity. Dorsal bilateral access to the operated part of the spine is performed, through the legs into the bodies of the vertebrae, above and below the semi-vertebrae. Transpedicular screws are installed bilaterally. The semi-vertebra and the Y-shaped disk are removed to the closure plates and to the formation of blood dew. The longitudinal rods of the transpedicular system are installed. Correction of deformation is carried out by compression maneuver on the convex side of the scoliotic arch. The longitudinal rods with are fixed with nuts to the transpedicular screws, a spinal fusion is created using an autobone.
EFFECT: method provides restoration of the local balance of the spine with minimal risk of neurological complications and a small volume of blood loss, as well as reduction of blood loss from spongy bone tissue and reduction of the duration of surgery due to en bloc extirpation of the semi-vertebra at the level of the thoracic and lumbar spine with the removal of the Y-shaped disc.
