FIELD: machine engineering, possibly crank presses such as sheet forming presses for performing operations ended in limit working positions of slide at maximum value of technological effort (bending at sizing, embossing and other).
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two basic part, nut and yoke upon which nut flange rests. Stem of nut enters cavity of yoke. Apparatus includes lid in the form of flange having coaxial to it cylindrical protrusion. Diameters of flange and protrusion are equal respectively to outer diameter of yoke and diameter of yoke cavity. Threaded opening into which screw is screwed-on is formed in wall of yoke. Cavity of yoke is cylindrical one and it is filled with easy-to-melt metal such as Wood's alloy. Lid is attached to yoke by means of screws having heads with internal hexahedron. Gap between ends of yoke and flange of lid is equal to doubled value of elastic deformation of system "press-die set" in case of press jamming.
EFFECT: increased resource of press, enlarged using range of apparatus.
