FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: hollow blank is placed in die and it is filled by ductile metal, for example by easy-to-melt metal such as Wood's alloy at temperature being close to its melting point. Then blank is deformed by action of pressure at partially pressing out ductile metal from shaping cavity. Lateral wall of blank is upset and its angular portions are subjected to restricted bending. Easy-to-melt metal is melting out off formed part, for example in boiling water. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 dwg
