FIELD: packages.

SUBSTANCE: package comprises partially cylindrical body part, converging shoulder part made as a single whole with body part and bottom part. Bottom part is connected with body part end opposite to shoulder part. Package also has opening device to be connected to shoulder part end. Shoulder part has tapering shape due to packing material bending to create a number of overlapped pockets. Three packing material sections serially extending along a circle are bent so that the first section defines outer side. The second section is bent inwards and rearwards and adjoins inner side of the first section. The third section is bent so that it adjoins outer side of packing material of the second section facing inner package side. Body part and shoulder part are made of web or sheet material bent so that opposite edges of the material are brought together and welded along longitudinal connection line. Bottom part is made as a single whole with body part and is sealed by simultaneous tube end flattening and welding to create air-tight sealing rib. The sealing rib is bent and has main pockets and additional pockets to impart octagonal shape to package bottom. Package production method is also disclosed.

EFFECT: possibility to create bottle-shaped package of laminated packing material.
