SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fritted glaze compositions that can be used, for example, for production of facing tiles and articles of household designation. Proposed glaze comprises Al₂O₃, B₂O₃, CaO, MgO, K₂O, Na₂O, SiO₂ and, additionally, ZrO and As₂O₃ in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: Al₂O₃, 20.0-24.0; B₂O₃, 8.0-12.0; CaO, 1.0-2.0; MgO, 4.0-6.0; K₂O, 1.0-2.0; Na₂O, 1.0-2.0; ZrO₂, 2.0-4.0; As₂O₃, 0.05-0.15, and SiO₂, the balance. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability of glaze.
