FIELD: ceramics, facing materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fritted glaze compositions used for applying articles made of porcelain and faience. Proposed glaze comprises SiO₂, Al₂O₃, B₂O₃, Na₂O, BaO, MgO and, additionally, ZrO₂ in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 45.0-51.0; Al₂O₃, 9.0-13.0; B₂O₃, 7.0-9.0; Na₂O, 2.5-3.5; BaO, 11.0-15.0; MgO, 4.5-7.5, and ZrO₂, 9.0-13.0. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability of glaze.
