FIELD: building materials ceramics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of fritted glazes that can be used for coating articles made of porcelain, faience and other ceramics. Proposed glaze comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 40.0-45.0; ZrO₂, 5.0-10.0; Al₂O₃, 3.0-5.0; B₂O₃, 15.0-17.0; CaO, 3.0-5.0; ZnO, 5.0-7.0; Na₃AlF₆, 1.0-2.0; BaO, 3.0-4.0; SrO, 1.0-3.0, and TiO₂, 12.0-14.0. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability of glaze.
