SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a glaze composition and can be used, for example, in production of facing tiles. Proposed glaze comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 45.0-50.0; Al₂O₃, 6.0-8.5; CaO, 19.0-25.0; MgO, 1.0-2.5; Na₂O, 0.8-1.5; K₂O, 1.0-2.5; B₂O₃, 7.0-10.0; Fe₂O₃, 2.0-3.5; MnO, 1.5-3.0; TiO₂, 0.2-0.5, and ZnO, 4.0-5.5. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability, resistance to cold and luster of glaze.
