SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a glaze composition and can be used for applying articles made of porcelain, faience and other ceramics. Proposed glaze comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 40.0-50.0; ZrO2, 5.0-10.0; Al2O3, 1.0-2.0; B2O3, 10.0-15.0; CaO, 3.0-5.0; ZnO, 5.0-10.0; BaO, 1.0-2.0, and TiO2, 17.0-24.0. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability and luster of glaze.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of glaze.
