FIELD: fuel additives.

SUBSTANCE: diesel fuel additive contains up to 50% C₃-C₂₀-alkyl nitrate, up to 30% ethylene polymer or copolymer of ethylene with α-C₃-C₄-olefins having molecular mass 50,000 to 100,000, and to 100% unsaturated fatty acid selected from oleic acid, lanoline acid, and linolenic acid or its amide. Diesel fuel consisting mainly of base fuel contains indicated additive in amount 0.01 to 1.0%. As base fuel, petroleum-origin summer or winter diesel fuel or gas condensate diesel fuel with wide fractional composition can be used.

EFFECT: improved starting, viscosity-temperature and lubricating properties.
