METHOD FOR WELL BOTTOM ZONE TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E21B43/26

Abstract RU 2320865 C1

FIELD: oil production, particularly methods for stimulating production by forming crevices or fractures.

SUBSTANCE: method involves lowering pressure pulse generator in well; performing impulse reservoir treatment by negative pressure pulses generation. Pressure exceeding pore pressure or maximal stress in remote reservoir zone is created in well bottom zone before impulse reservoir treatment. Generated negative pressure pulses have amplitude and duration, which provide pressure exceeding ultimate tensile strength of reservoir rock creation.

EFFECT: increased well yield and increased rock permeability.
