FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sources of additional energy for internal combustion engines of vehicles and it can used in passenger cars and trucks, buses, construction and road-building and agricultural machines. Invention contains description of three design versions of proposed system. System of all design versions contains gas-air turbine whose shaft is connected with crankshaft of internal combustion engine, and rotor is made in form of solid disk with heat resistant shaped blades. De Laval nozzles are installed on housing of gas-air turbine at angle corresponding to shape of blades to supply intake air from radiator compartment, exhaust gases from exhaust system of internal combustion engine and compressed air from receiver. From opposite side of housing ports are made through which gas-air turbine is connected with air cleaner of internal combustion engine, ports to let out waste air and gases and ports to connect gas-air turbine with radiator compartment of internal combustion engine. Receiver is connected also with vehicle accelerator pedal. Compressed air to receiver is delivered from double-acting pneumatic cylinder with free flowing piston installed horizontally along longitudinal axis of vehicle and from double-acting vertical pneumatic cylinders installed on bottom of vehicle. According to second and third design versions, system contains additionally on-coming air flow concentrator which is made either in form of one row of rigidly interconnected de Laval nozzles or several rows of such nozzles. Input of first nozzle in each row is pointed opposite to direction of vehicle motion, and output of last nozzle is pointed into atmosphere. Moreover, last de Laval nozzle of each row is connected by pipelines in place of its throat section with gas-air turbine, and de Laval nozzles are installed at opposite side of gas-air turbine housing to let in on-coming air from radiator compartment of internal combustion engine. According to third design version, rotor of dc electric motor is installed on shaft of gas-air turbine in series with turbine rotor. Said dc motor is connected with ac generator through full-wave rectifier. Said ac generator consists of electric coil fixed on bottom of vehicle inside which high energy permanent magnet is installed for vertical reciprocation, magnet being rigidly secured on vehicle rear axle housing and step up transformer .
EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption, increased efficiency of engine.
