FIELD: invention refers to communication technique and may be used for definition of coordinates of radio transmitters with using global navigational systems.
SUBSTANCE: achieved technical result is in increase of accuracy of definition of coordinates , expansion of zone of searching and operability in to carrying them to user. Indicated result is achieved due to usage satellite positions of global navigational system in quality of spaced receiving positions and due to execution of measuring time of arrival of signal relatively to primary time scales of global navigational system with following transmission of measuring results to points of observation and search. At equipping navigational space apparatus of global navigational system of GLONASS or NAVSTAR type with meters of time of arrival of signal, for example, from radio buoys ARB-406 with transmission of measuring results to any user having arrangements for receiving and processing of measurements and navigational information, user can operatively and with high accuracy define coordinates of people in disaster and immediately try to come to help them.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of definition of coordinates.
