FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the navigation of sea areas. Self-propelled hydroacoustic beacon buoy comprises a current source, control equipment, an antenna, and receiver of a GLONASS-type satellite navigation system, equipment for underwater communication, reception and emission of sonar signals, a receiving amplifier and decoder, electronic beacon equipment, an anchor apparatus with an anchor, an anchor rope and a reel, an onboard control system, a radio transmitter, a memory apparatus, a computing apparatus, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic pressure sensors, fastener for the anchor rope paid out from the reel, and an apparatus for separating the bitter end of the anchor rope from the reel attachment. Also claimed is a method for navigation support of pilotage, wherein the required amount of hydroacoustic beacon buoys is calculated, installation points thereof are determined, the buoys are prepared for installation on the base, subjected to operability check, and loaded onto the watercraft, delivered to the target sea area and unloaded into the water at the calculated points, after water landing, the hydroacoustic beacons buoys are set to the working position.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of positioning of underwater objects.
