FIELD: electrical engineering; gas-discharge sodium lamps for general and special-purpose illumination.
SUBSTANCE: proposed high-pressure no-mercury sodium lamp has combustion lamp of optically transparent material filled with inert gas, sodium, and zinc. Lamp filler composition is chosen to meet following relationship: 40.0 ≤ Zn/Na x Pêc x K ≤ 500.0, where Zn/Na is molar ratio of zinc-to-sodium atoms in filler composition; Pêcis xenon pressure in filler composition , kPa; K is coefficient of proportionality equal to unity, its dimensionality being 1/kPa. Proportion of filler ingredients is as follows: zinc, 0.23 to 92.00 mg/cm3; sodium, 0.16 to 65.40 mg/cm3. Xenon pressure is 10.0 to 500.0 kPa.
EFFECT: improved design, enhanced luminous efficiency of lamp.
