FIELD: connecting electrical device, such as switch, to motor car electric circuit.
SUBSTANCE: proposed connector has male and female parts (plug and socket). Locating means of plug have wall in the form of arc-section trough and at least two pins extending from butt-end part of device case. Wall and pins are spaced apart along butt-end outline of device case. Locating means of socket are made in the form of uniform arc-shaped side recess on both ends of lateral rectangular groove and two dihedral grooves on opposite end of socket shroud. Wall and pins of plug are disposed in uniform arc-shaped side recess and in two dihedral grooves of mating locating means of socket on opposite end of case, respectively.
EFFECT: reduced size of plug and socket, and of connector as a whole in plane perpendicular to plug and socket separation at easy separation of mating parts and reliable in-service mating of connector parts.
