FIELD: rescue equipment, particularly individual respiratory protective devices of filtering type to be used in environment comprising hazardous contaminants.
SUBSTANCE: breathing apparatus comprises mask, which covers user's face, panoramic spectacle unit and filtering material air-tightly connected to mask. The mask is made of material having fire-resistant discrete polymeric covering. Mouth section is connected to inner mask side and is provided with check valve to release exhaled air. Mask is made of fire-resistant and antichemical protective layers. Mask has seal and fastening means. Antichemical protective layer includes semi-volumetric polymeric filtering material with electret properties, fabric impregnated copper ferrocyanide and containing up to 15% of copper ferrocyanide, two layers of active coal fabric and lavsan nonwoven fabric layer. Sm=(1/4÷1/5)Sh, where Sm is mask surface area, Sh is head surface area. Summary thickness of the layers is up to 3.5 mm.
EFFECT: possibility to provide necessary user protection and comfort level in severe conditions.
