FIELD: packaging means.
SUBSTANCE: package comprises bag of flexible sheet material, which is collapsed flat before package filling. Bag has two opposite side walls 2 substantially adjoining each other. Side walls are firmly connected with each other along opposite side edges thereof. Bag also has doubly folded lower wall, which has two areas facing each other, and side wall 2 sections arranged in-between. Parts of lower wall end edges are secured one to another. Side edges of lower wall are fastened to side walls along side edges thereof at least near fold line. Connected to lower edge 21 of each side wall 2 is bordering made of resilient elastic material. The bordering is shaped so that it closes connection area between side walls of filled bag and bag bottom lying on surface and is in contact with the surface. Bag filling operation involves inserting sheet-shaped pouring head in flat mouth of the bag; supplying liquid through the head and sealing the mouth. The head is made so that head walls are closed up in inoperative position and are resiliently bent outwards under the action of flow passing through the head. The bags may be connected with each other along side edges thereof to create continuous bag strip.
EFFECT: increased self-stability of filled bag to be installed on horizontal surface and possibility of content consumption directly from bag or content discharge through upper opened bag end.
