FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: high-pressure cylinder comprises outer housing, member for control of velocity, several groups of pressure stages, by-pass chamber formed in the top section of first two groups of pressure stages between the chamber downstream of the control member and the shell of the outer housing. The stators of the first and second groups are mounted in individual races and are separated with a chamber. The by-pass chamber is in communication with the chamber between the first and second groups of pressure members through the opening made in the shell of the outer housing and opening made in the top face and flange for securing the stator member. The top face of the by-pass chamber is connected with the connecting pipe flange provided with outer and inner branch pipes. The opening in the shell of the outer housing between the first and second groups of the pressure stages receives the connecting pipe with the vertical branch pipe movably connected with the inner branch pipe of the top connecting pipe and sealed with, e.g., piston sealing rings. The outer branch pipe of the top connecting pipe is connected with the pipeline for sucking steam from the chamber via an additional pipeline downstream of the second group of pressure stages through a throttle control valve.
