SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with adhesive bandages for preventing and/or treating onychomycosis and methods for preventing and/or treating onychomycosis. Onychomycosis is caused by mycotic infection of nails and/or nail bed. Adhesive bandage is of high therapeutic effect towards onychomycosis, moreover, it requires no drilling the foramen in nails and/or daily nail scraping off. The suggested adhesive bandage may contain a protective layer and an adjacent contact layer. Contact layer is in close contact with the nail and not obligatory with surrounding skin areas. Contact layer includes an adhesive substance, an intensifier for penetrating the skin and/or nail and appropriate additives.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis and therapy.
