FIELD: cosmetology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical cosmetology, namely to onychomycosis treatment. There is disclosed double-action antimycotic composition for nail coating and method of application for alleviation or prevention of nail mycosis and, first of all, onychomycosis. The composition is represented with single-layered type and two-layer type to be applied for daily antimycotic treatment. Preferential antimycotic composition for nail coating contains antimycotic agent in effective amount, permeation intensifier ensuring intensified permeation of reactant, practically non-volatile film-forming hydrophilic polymer and pharmaceutically acceptable volatile carrier.
EFFECT: composition creates practically water-soluble antimycotic coating in contact with a nail sensitive to mycotic infection or infected.
