FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves setting draining catheters on opposite sides of omental bursa. One of them is set in upper pole of accumulated fluid volume. Its trajectory passes through lesser omentum or hepatic parenchyma in caudal direction. The second catheter is introduced between the stomach and transversal colon segment in cranial direction. Flowing washing drainage is applied. Catheters are controlled and corrected during drainage procedure.
EFFECT: provided reliable fluid discharge; reduced risk of inflammatory process spread.
