FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: chassis 2 with drive for rail vehicles 3 contains two wheels 4, 5, 6, 7 arranged one after the other on each longitudinal side of chassis and set into motion by drive unit 8, 9. Wheels rest separately on chassis, particularly, on car body or turnable bogie, through supports. Each drive unit has at least one drive machine 10, 11 which is connected with wheels through corresponding angle drive 14.1, 14.2, 15.1, 15.2 and flexible coupling 24.1, 24.2, 25.1, 25.2. Flexible coupling is made in form of joint with one adhesion plane, and joint between angle drive and wheel has no other adhesion plane.
EFFECT: improved reliability of drive, no need of additional lubrication, preservation of mounting sizes.
