FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast iron compositions. Proposed cast iron comprises the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 2.2-2.7; silicon, 0.1-0.3; manganese, 0.6-1.2; chrome, 0.8-1.2; nickel, 3.8-4.2; copper, 1.0-1.5; molybdenum, 3.0-3.8; niobium, 1.0-1.5; vanadium, 2.0-3.0; yttrium, 0.1-0.2; titanium, 0.6-1.0, and iron, the balance. Proposed cast iron shows high fragile strength and can be used energetic machine engineering.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of cast iron.
