FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast iron compositions. Proposed cast iron shows the following composition, wt.-%: carbon, 2.8-3.2; silicon, 0.8-1.2; manganese, 0.6-1.0; copper, 0.8-1.2; nickel, 2.5-3.5; molybdenum, 5.0-5.5; phosphorus, 0.05-0.1; vanadium, 1.5-2.0; chrome, 0.1-0.3; titanium, 0.5-0.7; boron, 0.05-0.15; zirconium, 0.8-1.2, and iron, the balance. Using the invention provides enhancing bending strength of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of cast iron.
