SUBSTANCE: the method consists in measurement of the static, lowering and time characteristics, the technical conditions of the mechanism of current collectors is diagnosed according to the shape of the curve depending on the time of attainment of the preset values of height by the current collector at its rise and lowering that are determined through the angular positions of the current collector frame corresponding to them. At determination of the dependence of the angular position of the current collector frame at its rise and lowering use is made of the discrete values distributed in the entire height range.
EFFECT: enhanced truth of the diagnostic information at an enhanced accuracy and efficiency of work.
