FIELD: radio detection and ranging, in particular, surface surveillance radars based on airborne pulse-modulated Doppler radar of low-altitude flight.
SUBSTANCE: the method for production of a three-dimensional image of surface in the view area of the low-altitude flight airborne radar consists in production of the line view mode of the monitored space area in combination with a narrow-band Doppler filtration of the received signals making it possible to split the spatial resolution elements into small parts (Doppler resolution elements) and formation of a tree-dimensional surface image in the form of a combination of the amplitudes of the reflected signals recorded in the Doppler resolution elements and presented in the form of an amplitude matrix and a matrix of the third coordinate in the rectangular coordinate system.
EFFECT: produced a three-dimensional surface image with an enhanced spatial resolution in the view area.
